Sanctuary programs are provided at low cost to schools to support and promote environmental learning. We also support the concept of class sponsorships to ensure that the Sanctuary is accessible to schools regardless of their ability to pay for transportation, programs, or resource materials.

Class sponsorship funds received through our Society or through our education partners Ducks Unlimited Canada are administered collectively as the Lower Mainland Wetland Education Program. Through this program, interested classes are matched to suitable sponsors and programs. Individuals, businesses and corporations fund specific classes to receive bus subsidies, educational resources or programs at the Sanctuary or at the Serpentine Wildlife Area in Surrey.
